I wish I had photos from all my childrens birthdays. My third baby, but first son was born with a true knot in his cord. I remember my doctor saying " he is meant to be here". Two weeks later we learned he was in end stage renal disease and would spend the next three years getting ready for a kidney transplant. He truly is our miracle, and I wish I had photos from that day to look back on.
It breaks my heart when families don't choose birth photography due to misinformation, cost or general overwhelm doing "all the things" to prep for baby!
So, now I offer birth photography for moms who cherish their family and want to capture every detail.

When it came to our birthing shoot, things did not go as planned, but she was ready and went above
just being our photographer. I was rushed for an emergency c-section, and she was there within 10
minutes of me notifying her what was going on. She held my hand, kept me calm, and captured our love
minutes after his arrival. She convinced me of pictures I did not think I would want after everything I
had just been through. Looking back now, 8 months later I am so thankful she pushed me to be in the
fresh 48 shoot with our sweet baby boy no matter how I felt I looked. Alexis takes her time and is very
professional while also making you feel like you have known her your whole life. We look forward to
Alexis capturing future milestones and memories of our family that we will cherish for a lifetime.
